The B1 visa is issued for the Business travelers to the United States and the B2 Visa is issued to visitors who intend to spend some time in the United States just for pleasure. The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by immigration officers of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). An electronic visa (e-Visa or eVisa) is stored in a computer and is linked to the passport number so no label, sticker, or stamp is placed in the passport before travel.
VWP travelers are not required to have specific plans to travel to the United States before they apply for an ESTA Travel Authorization. If you’re under the Visa Waiver Program and intend to work, study, or stay for more than 90 days, you must apply for a regular visa through your local US embassy or consulate.
This simply says that you are only going to stay within the United States for your job and that you are not coming as an emigrant at this time. A consular officer can only revoke a visa on the basis of such a determination if the traveler is outside the United States, or if his or her whereabouts are unknown.
