Tip: Dog Urine Odor
If you cleaned a pet stain from your carpet but smell of dog urine persists, the smell has most likely embedded itself in your carpet. First, clean the stain again using white vinegar, making sure to get down into the fibers of your carpet. Once the stain is removed, cover it with baking soda or other powdered carpet freshening product and leave it to sit over night. Vacuum in the morning. If the smell persists, contact a professional carpet cleaner who will likely have a recommendation for dog urine removal.

Tip: Dog Urine Odor
Accidents happen, especially with pets. If we’re fortunate, those accidents happen outside of the home. Sometimes we’re not so lucky, however. If you have to deal with dog urine on the carpet, take these steps to eliminate the stain and remove the odor. First blot the stain with paper towels until all of the liquid is absorned. Then blot with a solution of one part ammonia to three parts of water. When the entire stain is removed, blot again with clean water. If the smell of dog urine persists, your local pet supply center is sure to have a dog urine remover to suit your needs.

Tip: Dog Urine Odor
It’s unlikely your dog will urinate on his own bed, but it does happen. Especially in the case of illness. If this has happened to you, of course you’ll want to remove dog urine odor as well as the stain. To do so, first remove the cover to the dog bed and wash in the washing machine. If the stain has penetrated the mattress, you’ll need a dog urine remover. There are professional products you can use such as PAWS -Pet Accident Washup Solution, or you can try something else such as vinegar. Blot the stain with vinegar until the stain is removed and the smell of dog urine is gone. If the dog urine smell remains, cover the stain with baking soda and leave overnight.
